Strange Prince Andrew Project Underway

(RoyalPatriot.com )- Attempts to rehabilitate the estranged Prince Andrew who is facing assault charges from Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre are going down a “very strange tunnel,” according to Newsweek’s The Royal Report podcast.

The case was brought against the prince in 2021, which was reportedly settled out of court in 2022. He has since maintained that the allegations were false and allegedly agreed to a settlement in February 2022 worth between $3.6 million to $14.8 million after Buckingham Palace reportedly said that the headlines were damaging to Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, according to Fox News.

An anonymous royal source also reportedly told The Sun that the prince was pressured into the settlement.

The prince fell from grace after bombing a television interview in 2019 in which he tried to discredit Giuffre’s allegations and could not explain his relationship with Epstein. Before settling the suit, Andrew had been stripped of his military patronages and barred from using his HRH (His Royal Highness) title, actions which were approved by the late Queen Elizabeth.

As the estranged prince is trying to make headway for a public comeback, he has an unlikely, and likely unhelpful, alliance with Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for trafficking. While in her cell, Maxwell is attempting to disprove Giuffre’s claims against Andrew, saying that the photograph of Andrew and his accuser is fake.

“The campaign to rehabilitate Prince Andrew is just getting weird,” said Newsweek’s chief royal correspondent, Jack Royston. He added that in addition to Maxwell giving an interview, The Daily Telegraph ran an article with a photograph of the bathtub in which Giuffre claims the two had relations. The article argues that the bathtub was too small.

He also pointed to the oddity that the two people in the bathtub are wearing cutout masks of Andrew and Giuffre.

He called the defense “insensitive and inconsiderate to the very real victims of Jeffrey Epstein,” including Giuffre.
