Hagari shared this development via a post on the platform formerly known as Twitter. He emphasized that these weapons would significantly enhance Israel’s capabilities for impactful strikes and readiness for various scenarios.

Expressing gratitude for American support, Hagari stated, “We appreciate the support and assistance from the United States to the IDF and the State of Israel during this challenging period. Our common adversaries know that the cooperation between our armed forces is stronger than ever, and it plays a pivotal role in maintaining regional security and stability.”

In a statement from the State Dining Room on Tuesday, President Biden reiterated his commitment to stand with Israel in the face of recent Hamas attacks.

The President also verified that American citizens are currently held as hostages, with officials estimating that up to 20 Americans remain unaccounted for.

Furthermore, the Biden administration revealed that the USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group has been sent into the Mediterranean as a deterrent against any countries favorable Hamas who might seek to escalate and widen the conflict between Israel and Hamas. Additionally, US Air Force A-10s F-15s, and F-16s have been redeployed to bolster the existing fighter squadrons in the region.

The ongoing conflict has resulted in the loss of over 1,000 lives among Israelis and Palestinians, with 14 US citizens counted among the casualties. The White House has also confirmed that American citizens are among those currently held hostage by Hamas.
