Gas Line Explosion Forces Thousands to Evacuate

As the fall season enters the heart of its period of impact in 2023, the world appears as though it is closer to world war three than at any other time in history since the end of world war two in 1945. Since Joe Biden entered the White House in January of 2021, he has presided over an unprecedented period of chaos and instability in American history. Rampant inflation has gripped the nation and reached peak heights in the fall of 2022 at levels not witnessed in four decades. The American working class, which had already been shrinking, is severely struggling as their wages remain stagnant and the buying power of the dollar diminishes. Some 60% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. Internationally, chaos has dominated global politics.

Bidens weak leadership has emboldened enemies of the west to take threatening actions; Russia invaded Ukraine in eastern Europe in early 2022 bringing war to the continent for the first time since 1945. In the middle east, two years after Biden orchestrated a botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, the terrorist group Hamas invaded Israel and murdered over 1,000 civilians. In truth, the future appears quite ominous for humanity everywhere as 2023 nears an end.

After a summer of volatile weather and natural disasters, even man-made accidents are plaguing the nation. In Idaho, a colossal explosion occurred when a gas line burst.10,000 people had to leave their residences in a rural area of the state on October 12th. The explosion occurred outside of the town of Middleton. Residents of the municipality were initially told to evacuate, but after authorities determined that the gas line had been shut off, an order was given to “shelter in place” and the evacuation mandate was rescinded. Most residents were unaware of what had happened, and many only described feeling a “rumbling” sensation in the ground when the explosion occurred. It eventually produced two notable pillars of smoke.
