Rep Diaz-Balart Says Migrants Suing Charter Companies ‘Insane’

Republican Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart of Florida told Newsmax that a federal judge’s decision allowing illegal migrants to sue the charter businesses that brought them to Martha’s Vineyard is completely ridiculous and demonstrates a level of craziness that no one should ever have to endure.

Diaz-Balart pointed out that when Florida Gov. DeSantis sent those people to a sanctuary community that had publicly and on multiple occasions stated that they wanted illegal immigrants to come to their town and that they would take care of them.  New York City did the same.   Be careful what you ask for.

Diaz-Balart said that left-wing ideas like socialism seem great in principle, but in practice, they are terrible, harmful, unsustainable, and now they’re just ridiculous.

Illegal migrants who were transported to Martha’s Vineyard by DeSantis two years ago may now file a lawsuit against the charter airline, according to a ruling by Judge Allison Burroughs of the Massachusetts District Court on April 2.

According to Burroughs, the defendants were not acting lawfully when they enforced immigration laws. Instead, they ‘exploited the plaintiffs in a plot to increase defendant DeSantis’ national prominence for political efforts.

According to reports, the court decided that Vertol Systems Co. of Florida must face all eight charges after dropping three.

As a component of an effort by Republican governors to ensure that sanctuary cities grasp the consequences of the Biden administration’s loosened immigration policies, the migrants were allegedly transported from Texas to the restricted Massachusetts enclave after allegedly being assured better housing, jobs, and educational opportunities.

According to Diaz-Balart, he is eagerly anticipating the return of former President Donald Trump to the Oval Office if he is elected in November since each passing day under Biden’s presidency is a catastrophe. He added that the southern border was the primary reason why the US is sitting on a time bomb under this government.

The flights were legitimately undertaken and approved by the Florida Legislature, according to a representative for DeSantis’ office, who claimed they were pleased to have brought attention to the dire situation at the southern border.  They eagerly await the next relocation flight of illegal immigrants out of Florida.
