Companies Join Forces To Help Family Of Slain NYPD Officer

The family of NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller, who was killed in the line of duty, has received almost $2 million in donations. The tragedy has impacted law-abiding society, and they have shown extraordinary compassion in response. The donors vary from regular people to millionaires.

Two companies have joined forces to add to the Diller donations. Tunnel to Towers and Barstool Sports are banding together to honor his family.

Tunnel to Towers CEO Frank Siller and Barstool Sports CEO Dave Portnoy spoke on “Fox & Friends” to discuss their efforts to assist Stephanie, Officer Diller’s widow, and their baby.

Since the number of police officer deaths has increased by 40% this year, Siller emphasized the need to help the many families of fallen officers.

As a side note, Barstool Sports has been supporting the Diller family in ways unrelated to revenue, but as of Wednesday night, Portnoy has pledged to match donation amounts.

Barstool has a lengthy track record of supporting the police and related causes.

In just one day, they were able to raise $1.5 million.

34-year-old Guy Rivera has been taken into custody by the authorities as the perpetrator of the killer. His arrest record is extensive, including over 20 separate incidents, most of which included narcotics and violent offenses. Lindy Jones, the 41-year-old driver of the car that Rivera was in, was also apprehended; she also has a substantial criminal record.

At a press conference, Mayor Eric Adams revealed that Diller and his partner conducted a traffic stop in Far Rockaway, Queens, at around 5:45 p.m. on Monday after seeing a car parked illegally at a bus stop.

They asked Rivera to leave the passenger seat when they got to the automobile. After being told no, he allegedly started firing at the police.

Diller managed to grab Rivera’s rifle as it slid to the ground despite his mortal injuries.

The cops said that the partner of the officer fired twice, with one of the bullets hitting Rivera in the back.
