(RoyalPatriot.com )- In December, it was reported that Hunter Biden enlisted the services of high-powered attorney Abbe Lowell to coordinate Hunter’s response to the anticipated House oversight investigations planned by the incoming Republican majority. According to Hunter’s attorney Kevin Morris, Lowell will also act as an advisor on other legal matters and help craft the overall strategy.
Over the last several weeks, Lowell has been engaging in an aggressive legal strategy to counter the investigations into the president’s son, including sending letters to both federal and state officials urging them to investigate the people involved in the release of Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop, including the Delaware repair shop owner and Rudy Giuliani.
Lowell sent one letter to Matthew Olsen, assistant attorney general for national security suggesting that the individuals be investigated for accessing and disseminating the personal information on Hunter’s laptop.
Lowell also sent a similar letter to Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings, demanding that her office investigate the individuals as well since the laptop originated in Delaware. It should be noted that Jennings formally worked under a previous Delaware Attorney General, Hunter’s brother Beau Biden.
Last week, Congressman James Comer, chair of the House Oversight Committee, sent letters to both Hunter and the president’s brother James Biden requesting records related to their business dealings with a Chinese businessman linked to Chinese intelligence.
In response, Lowell suggested that instead of “back-and-forth writing campaigns,” he would meet with Comer and the ranking member of the committee to determine whether or not Hunter has any information “that may inform some legitimate legislative purpose and be helpful to the Committee.”
Previously, Lowell represented former President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner both in congressional investigations and during Robert Mueller’s special counsel probe into Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia.
Lowell has also represented several high-profile politicians, including New Jersey Democrat Senator Bob Menendez, former President Bill Clinton, and former Democrat Vice Presidential candidate John Edwards.
