Father Of Dead Marine Demands Biden’s Resignation

At a recent public discussion held in California, Gold Star family members of some of the 13 United States military men murdered during the failed evacuation from Afghanistan almost two years ago gave their accounts of what transpired.

According to reports, one of the Gold Star fathers demanded the resignation of President Joe Biden and his cabinet members.

After the death of her son, another mother made a similar accusation against a colonel, saying that he had given her false details.

At a public forum hosted by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) at Escondido City Hall, grieving parents and siblings of those killed in the suicide bombing at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan, shared their stories.

After finishing his speech, Darin Hoover, the father of slain Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Darin T. Hoover of Utah called for Biden to resign, which was met with enthusiastic applause.

Cheryl Rex, the mother of Marine Lance Cpl. Dylan R. Merola, killed in action in January 2022, spoke at the gathering. She recounted a briefing from a judge advocate general (JAG) and colonel in which she said she realized everything, including how her son died, was being covered up.

During the handover of her son’s remains, the Gold Star mother said she spoke with President Biden, who falsely claimed his own son, Beau, perished in combat.

When asked about the pullout from Afghanistan, President Joe Biden argued in July that he had done nothing wrong. His remarks came after the State Department published an “after-action review” of the botched evacuation.

A reporter probed him on whether or not he would concede defeat in Afghanistan. “No” was Biden’s response. He assured al-Qaeda wouldn’t have a presence and that the Taliban would assist US efforts.

When another reporter approached him to inquire about the terrible reports coming from Afghanistan, Biden abruptly left the room.

After the Taliban overthrew the U.S.-backed government in Kabul, many U.S. contractors, officials, and residents fled the country in a disorganized fashion.

This was not the first time Biden had denied having any regrets about the withdrawal.
