After President Joe Biden’s disastrous June 27th debate, Whoopi Goldberg (host of ABC’s The View) shared her opinions.
Normally, after debates, candidates’ campaigns seldom release a 90-second commercial in which the other candidate speaks without their own candidate uttering a word. But that’s precisely what the Trump campaign did, with much success.
Goldberg made it very obvious that Biden would need to do much more than make horrendous gaffes and display his cognitive problems to lose her support.
Goldberg explained that she was on vacation the day that the women of The View discussed the debate, so she decided to offer her two cents on it this week. She went on to say that she would be unconcerned even if he pooped his pants on stage. She is unconcerned if he is unable to form coherent sentences. But she thinks she’ll agree that the time has come for him to go if he proves he can’t do the job.
She also said that the first time Biden confronted Kamala Harris during a debate, he had a terrible night, and everyone wanted him to quit the race. He was told he was doing things wrong and that he couldn’t speak to women like that. Later, Biden claimed to have understood and realized his mistake.
In reference to the Democrat candidates’ debate in June 2019, Goldberg mentioned that Harris, who was running for president at the time, essentially accused Biden of being racist for siding with the “Dixiecrats” on school busing. Harris went on to describe how Biden had been working with them as proof of an earlier era of civility in DC.
Whoopi Goldberg believes with all her heart that Biden can recover from the 2024 disaster as he did during the 2019 debate.
A statement released by the White House on July 10th showed President Joe Biden was one of four people who met at the White House Residence Clinic in January 2024. The White House visitor records noted that on January 17, 2024, among those present at the gathering were Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s personal physician, Dr. John E. Atwood, a cardiologist at Walter Reed, and Dr. Kevin Cannard, a neurologist at Walter Reed who is said to specialize in Parkinson’s illness.
