(RoyalPatriot.com )- Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly begun a series of joint nuclear energy projects with the Chinese Communist Party. The project will include the construction of new Chinese nuclear power plants built using Russian technology.
With China’s notoriety for producing shoddy products and Russia’s history of running nuclear power stations, that all sounds pretty…terrifying.
According to a report from the Associated Press, Chinese state media outlet CCTV aired a joint videoconference between the Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which they announced that two new Russian reactors would be built at the Chinese Xuadpu and Tianwan power stations.
The two new reactors are expected to be completed by 2026 and 2028, and Russian President Putin said that the project would be a huge investment for China’s energy independence and security.
He explained in the video conference how Russian and Chinese experts were putting place a “truly signature, flagship joint project.” He also touted the “powerful state-of-the-art Russian-made nuclear reactors.” And in what appeared to be a slight nod to Russia’s history with nuclear power plants, Putin insisted that the new technology would be compliant with all relevant safety regulations as well as the “highest of ecological standards.”
Let’s hope so…

The CPP continues its plan to become the world superpower while President Joe Biden’s administration is still struggling to figure out what angle to take in opposing China’s expansionary goals.
Oh, and we mustn’t forget that during the video conference, President Zi announced that China plans to be carbon neutral by 2060. All of a sudden China cares about the environment…
