(RoyalPatriot.com)- Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden on his “win” on Tuesday, following the Electoral College vote that put Biden over the 270 threshold.
Putin, who waited until the vote to accept a winner of the 2020 presidential election, sent a message to Biden via the Kremlin. If Putin’s assumption is correct that the Electoral College vote will hold, even when a joint session of Congress votes on the Electoral College decision next month.
In November, the Kremlin said that they are “just waiting for the end of the internal political confrontation” before they accepted a winner.
In this month’s congratulatory message, Putin wished Biden “every success” in his expected presidency.
“For my part, I am ready for interaction and contacts with you,” Putin added.
He sounds super enthusiastic…
Russia’s assumption that Biden will be the next president is understandable, as the position America finds itself in is somewhat unprecedented. There have been various other contested elections in the past, but not in recent history have competing electors been sent to the Electoral College vote to give the “losing” candidate a contingency plan if legal battles determine the election was flawed.
President Donald Trump continues his fight to overturn the results of the election, citing obvious evidence of widespread fraud. The evidence so far includes video CCTV footage of misconduct in the Georgia count, data analysis showing tens of thousands of illegal votes, and thousands of sworn affidavits from regular Americans who witnessed fraud.
Should President Trump prove this in a court of law – as soon as a court decides to see the case on merit – then the competing electors could be used next month in the joint session of Congress to declare President Trump the rightful winner.
Of course, Putin’s acknowledgement of Biden’s supposed “win” is already being used by Russiagate conspiracy theorists to suggest the Republicans are in cahoots with the Kremlin.
Vladimir Putin acknowledged Joe Biden’s win before Mitch McConnell.

So, apparently Mitch McConnell was waiting for Putin to congratulate the president-elect before conceding that Joe Biden won the election. #BeatHimToIt

Will the Russia conspiracy theory never die?
