Ukraine Secret Service Arrests Hacker Helping Russian Invaders

( )- According to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), a hacker who was working to help the invading Russians has been detained by the country’s authorities. The hacker was revealed to have provided technical assistance to invading Russian troops, giving them access to mobile communication services while operating within Ukraine’s borders.

The unnamed man reportedly broadcasted text messages to Ukrainian government officials, including civil servants and a number of security officers, proposing that they should give up and begin working for the Russians – suggesting that the invading forces were likely to succeed. He was also accused of routing phone calls from Russia to the cell phones used by Russian troops within Ukraine.

According to the SBU, as many as one thousand calls per day were facilitated by the hacker, with many of the calls being for the top leadership within the Russian army.

All equipment used by the hacker has since been confiscated, potentially leaving Russian soldiers without cell phone service – assuming there aren’t other hackers helping them out.

SBU officials also said that the anonymous hacker was also communicating instructions and commands from different Russian groups in the country, allowing them to communicate military instructions and plan their invasion.

“He will be held accountable for all the severity of the law,” an SBU official said. “Because it is the blood of tens or even hundreds of killed Ukrainians.”

While this anonymous hacker may have assumed at first that Ukraine can’t possibly win in a war against Russia, some experts have argued that Russia is likely to run out of ammunition within the next week to two weeks…

Even in the face of traitors facilitating Russia’s invasion, Ukraine could still successfully fend off the Russians.
