Tulsi Gabbard Claims Kamala Harris Took ‘Acting Lessons’ Before Debate

Former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has claimed that Vice President Kamala Harris took acting lessons ahead of her presidential debate with Donald Trump.

Gabbard made the claims before the September 10 presidential debate, during which Harris was display the dramatic facial expressions that helped her capture many eyeballs even when Trump was speaking on a split screen.

Gabbard indicated that Harris locked herself in a room where she was “taking extreme acting lessons.”

The former Democrat revealed that Hollywood advisers assisted Harris in practicing her facial expressions under optimal lighting conditions. The vice president believed this tactic could help her win the debate and capture the attention of undecided and moderate voters.

Hollywood has historically supported Democratic campaigns. Industry heavyweights are even referred to as the “ATM for Democrats” due to their unwavering support for liberal candidates.

Hollywood superstar Taylor Swift also endorsed Harris moments after the presidential debate and asked people to register to vote, leading to a massive influx of traffic on voter registration sites. Within 24 hours of posting the message, more than 400,000 people clicked on the link to visit the voter registration site through Swift’s post.

Gabbard further argued that she does not believe such tactics can sway Americans. Gabbard currently serves as Donald Trump’s campaign adviser and may potentially serve in the future Trump administration.

Throughout the debate, Harris awkwardly smiled, placed her hand on her chin, tilted her head, laughed, and kept her eyes wide open whenever Trump spoke. According to the debate rules, the microphone of the non-speaking candidate was muted, which further increased the importance of facial expressions. Experts suggest that through her facial expressions, Harris was essentially communicating with voters even when Trump had the floor.

Her unusual smile sometimes seemed to downplay the significance of Trump’s words, implying that the former president was lying.

Several analysts believe that Harris’s body language was sufficient to put Trump on the defensive, adding that she tried to unsettle him by constantly challenging him with her facial expressions.

Some commentators also suggested that Trump had never encountered such a situation before, as he is typically surrounded by people who rarely challenge him, let alone display unusual facial expressions during a conversation. However, with Harris passing these expressions, Trump had no choice but to maintain his composure and focus on the task at hand.

Insiders believe Harris aimed to win over moderate voters during the debate. Her gesture of offering a handshake to Trump at the start is a sign of respect that often appeals to moderates.

Meanwhile, Harris’s facial expressions also caught the attention of memers, who flooded the internet with memes after the debate.
