Trump’s Son Soars To Top Beating Ron DeSantis As Most Popular Republican

( )- It has been clear for quite some time that Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is the second-most popular possible Republican candidate for president in 2024, trailing behind former President Donald Trump. However, a new poll just showed that President Trump may be able to use his family name to take a step back and let his son, Donald Trump Jr., take the nomination next time around instead.

The poll, which was performed by Fabrizio, Lee & Associates, shows that the oldest son of the former president is now the most popular of GOP figures in the poll, with DeSantis coming second.

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy came third in the poll, with Reps. Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Green behind him. All three candidates scored higher than the current Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who has repeatedly butted heads with former President Trump.

Donald Trump Jr. has not publicly stated whether or not he plans to run for president, but given the likelihood that his father will run in 2024, it seems unlikely. Former President Trump has previously said that he thinks his supporters will be “very happy” when he ultimately makes a decision on whether or not to run in 2024, but added that current campaign finance laws make it difficult to make a public announcement right now.

Tony Fabrizio, who conducted the poll, said that they found that Mitch McConnell’s imagine has “significantly improved” since February, even though he came so low in the polling. It also reportedly found that Liz Cheney is “incredibly unpopular” and that Kevin McCarthy’s popularity is positive and consistent.
