(RoyalPatriot.com )- Last week, columnist Peggy Noonan penned an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal suggesting that public opinion may turn against Donald Trump if the January 6 select committee hearings manage to uncover enough evidence against him.
Noonan wrote that both the Democrat and Republican Parties appear to be rejecting their leaders, Biden and Trump. She said this rejection was causing a “tectonic shift” that will continue to grow as the parties “scramble for what’s next.”
This column didn’t sit well with former President Trump.
In a statement on Sunday, Trump attacked Peggy Noonan and the other “weak and frail” RINOs, calling them, among other things, nasty, jealous, stupid, and foolish.
In addition to singling out Noonan, Trump railed against Rich Lowry, whom he accused of destroying William F. Buckley’s influential magazine the National Review.
The former president also attacked George Will, saying his mind has decayed from “hatred and envy.” He called attention to Jonah Goldberg and Stephen Hayes, describing the pair as irrelevant.
Trump blasted the group for not understanding the MAGA movement or America First, calling them “nasty, jealous, not smart, and of no use to the potential greatness of our Country.”
He accused them of being nothing but talk, adding they lack the talent to get anything done so all they do is criticize and complain.
Trump closed his statement by calling them “shortsighted ‘losers’” who don’t understand “what it takes to Make America Great Again.”
