Trump Says Health Condition Only Thing That Would Prevent 2024 Run

( )- Former President Donald Trump did a radio interview last Friday with David Brody from the Real America’s Voice network.

During the interview, Brody pointed out that the former President has been playing coy on whether or not he would jump into the 2024 presidential race. So rather than asking Trump if he planned to run, Brody put it a different way, asking the former President if he could think of any reason not to run again in 2024.

President Trump said that a “bad call from a doctor or something” would prevent him from running. While Trump admitted that some things happen that are out of his control, he told Brody that right now he feels good, “and I hate what’s happening to our country.”

Prior to the inauguration of 78-year-old Grandpa Biden, Donald Trump, who was 69 at the time of his inauguration, was the oldest person to ever take the oath of office. If he should run again in 2024, he would be 77 on election day – the same age Joe Biden was in November 2020.

Despite his age, Trump’s support among Republican voters remains strong.

A Harvard/Harris survey released last week found that 58 percent of Republican voters want Trump to be their 2024 nominee. Former Vice President Mike Pence was a far-distant second with 13 percent.

Even the many Republicans who would like to see new blood take the reins in 2024 have reiterated that, should Trump win the nomination, they would support him.

Naturally the media is apoplectic at the thought of another Trump run and seem determined to prevent that from happening by repeating the claims about Trump’s “discredited” accusations of voter fraud and his supposed role in the January 6 “insurrection.”

Reporters have taken to asking Republican lawmakers and Republican candidates if they would support a possible Trump 2024 run – no doubt as a way to portray those Republicans who say yes as showing support for a dangerous insurrectionist who peddled conspiracy theories about the 2020 election being stolen and blah-blah-blah.

The question is, if Donald Trump didn’t have a single chance of winning in 2024, would reporters be this panicked?

Probably not.
