Trump Says Americans Must Boycott Time Warner

( )- Former President Donald Trump responded to the news that Time Warner has decided to drop conservative news network One America News, imploring Americans of conscience to boycott the network.

In a statement on March 14, the former president wrote:

“Time Warner, the owner of Fake News CNN, has just announced that they will be terminating a very popular and wonderful news network (OAN).”

Trump said that between Time Warner and Comcast, there is a “virtual monopoly on news” which means that the reports pushed by the mainstream media are more likely to be “fake.”

“I believe the people of this Country should protest the decision to eliminate OAN, a very important voice,” he said. “Likewise, Comcast is terrible and expensive. Let them know that you’re sick and tired of FAKE NEWS!”

Trump said that OAN, a network that often counters the fake narratives pushed by CNN and others, was representative of a very large group of people.

Even if you don’t like Trump, how can you possibly endorse removing a news network that caters to millions of patriotic Americans who don’t want to watch CNN or MSNBC?

OAN is currently the target of a censorship campaign from major networks. Only last month, DirecTV announced that it would not be renewing its contract with OANN, effectively removing it from the platform and denying yet more households access to alternative news sources.

Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky also urged Americans everywhere to drop their support for networks that cancel news networks.

“Why give money to people who hate us?” Paul asked at the time.
