Trump Just Fired 20 Immigration Judges – He’s Not Holding Back

The Trump administration has fired 20 immigration judges, sparking controversy and raising concerns about the already backlogged immigration court system.

Dems say they’re worried about not having enough judges to handle the backlog…but is that really why they’re unhappy?

Sudden Dismissals Shock Immigration Court System

The Trump administration has caused outrage (as usual) after the president abruptly fired 20 immigration judges.

Good news!

The dismissals, which occurred without explanation, have left Democrats questioning the motives behind this decision and its potential impact on the already strained immigration court system.

The firings included 13 judges who had not yet been sworn in and five assistant chief immigration judges. This action follows the dismissal of two other judges under similar circumstances in the previous week. The U.S. Justice Department’s Executive Office for Immigration Review has remained silent on the matter, declining to respond to requests for comment.

Trump is undoing the damage caused by President Joe Biden. He, after all, is the man who appointed these judges to begin with.

The timing of these dismissals has been raised by Democrats who claim to be concerned over the current state of the immigration court system. With a staggering backlog of over 3.7 million cases, asylum seekers often face years-long waits for their cases to be decided. The removal of these judges, without any clear indication of replacements, allegedly threatens to exacerbate this already dire situation. But Democrats seem to be more concerned about illegal aliens getting access to America than the wellbeing of the American people and the prioritization of legal immigrants.

“They’re treating these people as if they’re not human beings,” Matthew Biggs, President of the International Federation of Professional & Technical Engineers, said.

That’s what they always say – but they never offer an idea of how many illegals, exactly, they’d be happy to take…

The dismissal of these immigration judges aligns with broader Trump administration priorities, including a focus on mass deportations and reducing the size of the federal government. This action is part of a larger initiative that has seen agencies ordered to lay off nearly all probationary employees, potentially affecting hundreds of thousands of federal workers.

The current leader of the immigration court system, Sirce Owen, has been actively reversing many Biden administration policies. This latest move further solidifies the Trump administration’s hardline stance on immigration and its commitment to reshaping federal employment practices.
