Tom Cruise Calls In Bodyguards After Death Threats

(RoyalPatriot.com )- After allegedly receiving death threats from a former employee, actor Tom Cruise had to hire additional security.

Cruise and “Mission Impossible 8” director Christopher McQuarrie both received alleged death threats after the stunt producer on the film was told his services were no longer required.

It is also believed the former stunt producer has begun litigation against Cruise, McQuarrie, and Paramount Studios. He reportedly accused the film of receiving financial backing from Russian oligarchs and suggested that the FBI is looking into the money trail.

According to gossip sites, Cruise reportedly enlisted the services of “heavy-duty bodyguards” and a security team to protect the tiny actor while filming on “Mission: Impossible 8” continues in the UK.

Christopher McQuarrie is also being protected by security.

An anonymous source told the UK Sun that the former stunt producer was responsible for finding locations for filming stunts, including a major train crash. But his location plans were not used in the film.

And while it is not unusual for Tom Cruise to be guarded by security teams, Christopher McQuarrie isn’t used to it, the source told the Sun.

The source said the additional security was just a precaution and those involved with the film are “confident everything is totally fine.”

McQuarrie and Cruise have worked together before.

In 2012, McQuarrie directed Cruise in “Jack Reacher.” He also directed “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” in 2015 and “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” in 2018.

They are currently working on a two-part film “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning” with the first part set to release in 2023 and part two set for 2024.
