Terror Victims Sue The U.S. Government

(RoyalPatriot.com )- The victims of terror attacks by Palestinians have filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration for spending almost $500 million in taxpayer funds to support the Palestinian government.

The plaintiffs in the suit claim that the Palestinians then used these funds to pay convicted terrorists as well as their families

In the suit, which was filed on Tuesday by Texas Republican Representative Ronny Jackson and American victims of Palestinian terror attacks, said the Biden administration violated federal law for resuming its aid to the Palestinian government.

These funds were frozen under the Trump administration because the Palestinian government was financially supporting terrorists. The program they were doing so under was being referred to as pay-to-slay.

Watchdog group America First Legal Foundation is leading the suit for the plaintiffs. They are asking the court system to force the Biden administration to halt its program, claiming they are helping to sustain the pay-to-slay program.

The suit claims that in doing so, the Biden administration is violating the Taylor Force Act, a 2018 law that bars the U.S. from making payments to the Palestinian government unless it stops its payment program to terrorists.

In formal filings in the past, the State Department has said that the Palestinian government indeed pays terrorists and helps to incite violence against Israel. The courts will now determine whether the State Department, which is a defendant in the suit, can be told to stop making those payments.

Other plaintiffs in the case are the family members of Taylor Force — an American killed by Palestinian terrorists in 2016 and who the act was named after — as well as Jackson and Sarri Singer, another American who survived a 2003 suicide bombing by a Palestinian.

As Jackson told The Washington Free Beacon recently:

“I am committed to doing everything in my power to get the accountability these families so richly deserve as we work to make sure U.S. taxpayer-funded terrorism never happens again. President Trump showed tremendous leadership when he signed the Taylor Force Act into law and ended taxpayer support for the Palestinian Authority’s terrorist activities. Joe Biden’s decision to reverse course knowing full well blood is on his hands as a result is unconscionable.”

In a statement, Robbi and Stuart force, the parents of Taylor, said Biden as well as Secretary of State Antony Blinken are “dishonoring the memory and legacy of a good man, and ignoring the citizens of United States who understand that taxpayer dollars should not be used to fund the killing of innocent civilians.”

The State Department has determined recently that the pay-to-slay program has resumed in Palestine, yet the Biden administration continues to send them money. This was first revealed by reports published by the Free Beacon.

In a report that the State Department issued to Congress this year, it said the government in Palestine “continued payments to Palestinian prisoners who had committed acts of terrorism, as well as the families of so-called ‘martyrs’ who died while committing acts of terrorism.”
