Silicon Valley Investor Slams Elon Musk for Bizarre Online Antics

Elon Musk is facing heat for his outspoken stance against the Biden administration, with a Silicon Valley investor demanding that the government “prosecute” the Tesla owner.

Business magnate Roger McNamee stated that Musk should face legal consequences for “undermining” the same government with which his companies are doing business.

According to McNamee, Musk’s companies are involved in many strategic projects of the federal government in the defense and aerospace sector, and the government is paying him for these projects, which means that he should face legal charges for trying to undermine the government.

McNamee was responding to the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) report, which accused Musk of propagating baseless claims in the wake of the presidential elections. The CCDH report found that Musk’s misleading posts have been viewed nearly 1.2 billion times.

McNamee stated that Musk is protected under the Constitution for his free speech, just like any other American, but this right should not be “unlimited.”

As Starlink and SpaceX are doing business with the government, McNamee continued, Musk’s speech should be monitored, and he should face restrictions that the average American does not face.

According to the Silicon Valley tycoon, Tesla’s owner has special obligations toward the government, and failing to comply with these obligations risks putting the national interest at risk.

Last year, Musk sued the CCDH for the report, claiming that the anti-hate speech watchdog propagated “misleading” claims against him. The lawsuit noted that Musk’s social media company X had to bear the loss of millions of dollars due to the organization’s “scare campaign” that forced advertisers to leave.

However, the CCDH CEO Imran Ahmed said that Musk is blaming his failure as CEO of X on everyone else and that he allowed misogynists, homophobes, racists, and anti-Semites back on his social media platform under the guise of free speech.

Since buying the social media platform X, Musk has consistently slammed Democrats and their governing style, often criticizing the government on issues such as the economy, immigration, crime, and the far-left gender agenda.

Musk, who voted for Joe Biden in the 2020 elections, endorsed Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential race and announced donating $45 million to conservative causes in this year’s election cycle. He also interviewed Trump on X and convinced Trump to return to his platform.

Trump has admired Musk’s approach and announced his plans to give him a high-profile portfolio of government accountability after winning the November elections.

According to Trump, Musk will lead a presidential commission in his future administration that will audit the finances and performance of the US federal government. Musk accepted the offer, stating he would serve America without title, pay, or recognition.
