Ron DeSantis’ Latest Ad Is A Home Run

( )- Florida Governor Ron DeSantis quickly became a favorite for conservatives who praised his unrelenting leadership throughout the 2020 pandemic, kept businesses and placed of worship open, allowed children to go to school and, most importantly, championed freedom across the Sunshine State. DeSantis’ latest political ad ahead of his 2022 election where he’s facing Democratic challenger Charlie Crist, has even been acknowledged by some Democrats, according to The Daily Wire.

The 60-second ad featured average blue-collar workers thanking DeSantis for his leadership throughout the years, from the economy, education, and cultural issues.

“He saved our jobs,” says a waitress.

“And kept us going,” ads a cook.

A car mechanic addresses DeSantis directly, saying, “They tried to shut us down and you saved our business.”

DeSantis was up against the Democrats and partisan mainstream media during the pandemic as he refused to shut down the state and implement mask requirements, even sparring with President Biden over his refusal to listen to science-denying ideologues hell-bent on decimating the American economy.

Clearly, DeSantis’ policies worked out best for the state as it is now back to pre-pandemic strength. Despite constant backlash from the media, his policies were arguably better than those in New York and California as data shows, according to Daily Wire.

“We will never do any of these lockdowns again, and I hear people say they’ll shut down the country, and honestly, I cringe,” DeSantis said in August 2020. “And at best, what the lockdown will do is delay. It does not reduce the ultimate mortality…it creates a lot of other problems with mortality that a lot of people don’t necessarily focus on.”

A nurse featured in the ad thanked the governor for listening to facts, not fear.

In addition to causing those on the left to seethe and resent the governor even more, DeSantis signed legislation barring biological males from competing in female sports. The ad also notes how he designated houses of worship as “essential,” enabling them to stay open during the pandemic, much to the left’s deep hatred of religious freedom.

Nevertheless, even this ad was acknowledged by those considered to be “fair.”

“Another very strong ad from DeSantis re-election campaign,” wrote a senior correspondent for Axios.
