Ron DeSantis Gets Surprise Endorsement For President

A vocal opponent of transgender athletes competing in women’s sports, swimmer Riley Gaines, has thrown her support behind Florida Governor and Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis.

Gaines revealed her endorsement of Ron DeSantis in an interview with Eric Bolling of Newsmax. She recalled the radicalism promoted by the Biden administration on the subjects of gender ideology and talked about herself being victimized by a male swimmer who defeated her in the NCAA championship.

She began the interview by saying she wanted to share just how she’d been affected by the gender propaganda being pushed in America. She said having been forced to change in front of males and compete with them, she understands the threat Americans face.

Gaines explained that the Biden administration had placed a strain on women and how she was attacked by a mob of “woke” people after lecturing at San Francisco State University. She feels Ron DeSantis is at the vanguard of the resistance to such radicalism.

In light of the need to “restore and ultimately save America and the people who live here,” she emphasized the significance of the next election. And with that, I’m thrilled to say that I’m backing Governor DeSantis for president.

Gaines feels his direction has been crucial in exposing the cultural problems contributing to the disintegration of families, faith, and liberties and eradicating the extreme ideology that fuels the lunacy. She said his victory in Florida proved that the political establishment, the woke corporations, and the media could be taken on, and you could win an election.

Florida has outlawed transgender operations, “gender-affirming” treatment for youngsters, and its prohibition on men participating in women’s sports in schools.

DeSantis had signed a bill on Wednesday that would officially ban the mutilation of minors in the name of gender affirmation.

According to DeSantis, the bill would prohibit surgeries, procedures, and puberty blockers for people under 18. It also mandates that any adult having these radical elective surgeries be told of the dangers and irreversible nature of the operations.

When asked about the importance of women’s sports funding, Riley Gaines referred to it as “spiritual warfare.”
