Rittenhouse Says It Wasn’t The Best Idea To Go To Kenosha

(RoyalPatriot.com )- Kyle Rittenhouse, the teenager who was wrongly accused of being a white supremacist by President Joe Biden and a cold-blooded murderer by much of the American media and the Democratic Party, said on Monday that if he could go back in time he would stay away from Kenosha, Wisconsin on the night he shot three extreme left-wing violent attackers last year.

During the Antifa and Black Lives Matter riots in Kenosha last year, Rittenhouse was 17 years old and chose to help defend local businesses using his legal firearm. Left-wing activists and Democrats were rioting in the streets after Jacob Blake, an armed man, was shot by police officers.

Speaking to Sydney Watson and Elijah Schaffer on The Blaze, Rittenhouse said:

“Hindsight being 20/20, probably not the best idea to go down there,” he said.

That may well be true. His intentions appear to have been good, but the left argued repeatedly that he should never have gone. That doesn’t mean left-wing activists had a right to try and murder him, though…

“Can’t change that, but I defended myself and that’s what happened,” he added.

But Rittenhouse isn’t backing down on his right to self defense – and nor should he.

During the interview, he said that every American should be able to defend themselves, and that it’s a God-given right.

“That’s what was on trial in Wisconsin, the right to self-defense,” he said.

So true.

Rittenhouse’s mother, Wendy Rittenhouse, has previously said that she also wishes Kyle would never have gone down to Kenosha in the first place, but that her son’s nature is to “help people.”
