Pelosi Claims Her Sarcastic Clapping At Trump’s State Of The Union Was Unintentional

( )- Last Friday, Nancy Pelosi made her second appearance on the TV show “RuPaul’s Drag Race” where she addressed her behavior during former President Trump’s 2019 State of the Union Address.

At one point during his 2019 speech, President Trump had called on Congress to “reject the politics of revenge, resistance, and retribution” and instead “embrace the boundless potential of cooperation, compromise, and the common good.”

From behind the president, Pelosi leaped to her feet, stuck her arms out toward President Trump, and clapped in his face while smirking. The implication wasn’t lost on viewers who interpreted Pelosi’s response as an accusation that it is Trump who uses the politics of “revenge, resistance, and retribution.”

Members of the anti-Trump Resistance loved it. Immediately afterward, Twitter was replete with “Yaaaas, Kween!” responses.

Slate described it as the “Sarcastic Point Clapback Heard Around the World” while the UK Independent claimed Pelosi’s snotty clap stole Trump’s thunder.

But when “RuPaul’s Drag Race” drag queen Raja Gemini brought up Pelosi’s snotty response on Friday, describing it as “f*cking epic,” Pelosi claimed it was “completely unintentional.”

Admittedly, Pelosi is 82-year-old and probably couldn’t summon up the memory of that 2019 incident if her life depended on it.

When Friday’s “RuPaul’s Drag Race” wrapped up, all the drag queens mimicked Pelosi’s snotty clap. Host RuPaul gushed over Pelosi, laughingly claiming she had done so much tireless work “for our freedom.”

Was that sarcasm?

Maybe RuPaul was being “completely unintentional” too.
