New Record Shattered At The Border As Illegals Flood America Under Biden

( )- According to recent reports from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), migrant interactions at the southern border reached an all-time high in April, according to Fox News’ Bill Melugin.

President Joe Biden is working to repeal Title 42, a Trump-era directive that allows Border Patrol to turn away migrants at the border because of the COVID-19 outbreak.

According to a DHS court filing today, 234,088 migrants were intercepted at the southern border in April. That’s the most significant number in DHS history.

117,989 migrants were released into the United States in April.

113,248 were removed, including 96,908 expelled under Title 42.

The April figures follow a March revelation that roughly 210,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended throughout the month, the highest amount ever recorded under Biden’s administration.

This implies there have been 1,026,460 contacts in the first six months of FY’ 22, which began on 10/1. Only 570,826 contacts were recorded in the first six months of record-setting FY’21.

Biden had sought to eliminate Title 42 on May 23 on the advice of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), but a federal court put a temporary halt to the administration’s plans in late April after a lawsuit by Missouri, Louisiana, and Arizona.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt said his office recently received a temporary restraining order to preserve Title 42 in place in a lawsuit initially filed by Missouri, Louisiana, and Arizona. This is a significant win for border security, but the struggle is far from over. Judge Robert Summerhays of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia pledged to rule before the CDC’s May 23 deadline for removing Title 42.
Experts have warned of a “tsunami” of illegal immigrants if the border policy is abandoned, and officials have calculated that rescinding Title 42 could result in up to 18,000 contacts every day.

Revoking Title 42 would result in an unprecedented influx at the southern border, overwhelming law enforcement authorities and non-governmental groups,”

The Republicans who filed the suit say that the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) believes that repealing Title 42 will result in up to 18,000 migrants every day or 540,000 in a single month.

Biden’s proposal to repeal Title 42 has also been met with criticism from ten Democratic members of Congress.

Rep. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) said that we are currently experiencing a crisis on our southern border. This government currently lacks a strategy.
