(RoyalPatriot.com )- Interesting…it turns out that even when there’s evidence supporting criminal charges against disgraced former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, the mere fact that he’s a Democrat means that he doesn’t face any consequences.
Westchester County District Attorney Mimi Roach just announced in a statement that their investigation uncovered “credible evidence” that concludes the conduct Cuomo was accused of “did occur.”
In one instance, Cuomo is accused of kissing a state trooper inappropriately, and that the state trooper only allowed him to do it because she was scared about the possible “ramifications” of denying him the kiss.
In Roach’s statement, it was revealed how the DA’s office determined that the allegations and witnesses were credible, that the conduct was concerning…but that they cannot pursue criminal charges because of the statutory requirements of the criminal laws in New York.
Isn’t it convenient that this all took so long, that the statutory requirements mean they can no longer go after Cuomo?
“This conclusion is unrelated to any possible civil liability which is beyond the scope of a District Attorney’s jurisdiction, which focuses solely on criminal laws,” the statement continued.
Okay, so here’s what this means:
Technically, they can no longer go after Cuomo for criminal charges. There can, however, be civil charges brought against him by private individuals and those could soon play out in a court of law.
It’s not ideal, but it’s something – and we can bet we’re going to see some civil suits filed against him soon.
