Nancy Pelosi Tells Lawmakers To “Shut Up”

( )- You probably didn’t need any more evidence that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is heartless, but just in case you did, take a look at this.

Pelosi said during a press conference on Thursday that Republican legislators should “shut up” about dead soldiers in Afghanistan.

Her comments came after Republican Reps. Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene heckled President Joe Biden during his State of the Union speech. As the president mumbled through a pre-prepared teleprompter script, struggling to even pronounce some words, Boebert raised her voice to remind the president of the people who died in his botched withdrawal of American troops in Afghanistan.

Biden tried to sound sympathetic to what happened in Afghanistan, after he ordered troops to leave behind billions of dollars of military equipment and abandon American citizens in the country.

“And they come home, many of the world’s fittest and best warriors, in a flag-draped coffin,” he said.

It prompted Boebert to raise her voice and shout, “13 of them!”

You can see the exchange in this clip:

Rep. Greene also joined in – and apparently it angered Pelosi.

During her Thursday press briefing, Pelosi was asked about the incident.

“Let me just say this, I agree with what Senator Lindsey Graham said…shut up!” she said. “That’s what he said to them, I think they should just shut up.”

Here’s the thing – Pelosi really tried to make it seem as though Republicans disagree with the two legislators, but Senator Graham is hardly representative of the modern GOP. If she thinks that citing Graham makes her deeply insensitive comments more palatable, she should think again.

Perhaps Pelosi should take her own advice.
