(RoyalPatriot.com )- After paying close attention to posts produced by Fox News that is often shared on social media, Joe Scarborough stated on Monday that it is “quite evident” to him that “Fox News has left the Trump train.” Instead, the cable news network has begun to back Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in recent weeks.
The mixed-up and confused Scarborough said that Fox News and former President Donald Trump have had a relationship that can be described as mutually beneficial for a significant amount of time. He had been a contributor in the past and reaped the benefits of receiving favorable publicity and free counsel from on-air talent. The mutually beneficial nature of this partnership began to deteriorate towards the end of the year 2020 due to President Trump’s unsubstantiated claims that the general election he lost to President Joe Biden was rigged or stolen.
Whether or not Trump runs for reelection in 2024, Scarborough said that DeSantis had established himself as the front-runner for the presidency. According to recent polls, approximately six in ten Americans believe that Trump should be criminally punished for his participation on January 6th. This sentiment is shared by even one in five Republicans who have been questioned on the issue.
The fence-sitting, rudderless Scarborough said that sometimes, even the most prominent and mundane observation still merits some memorialization, particularly by an outlet that covers that political media ecosphere.
Scarborough’s statement is illustrative and will undoubtedly elicit a response from Trump, given his anger against Fox News. This would be an example of the type of contentious intraparty conflict that is sometimes amusing to observe, but, of course, Scarborough is not Republican.
Scarborough, a self-described conservative Republican, did nothing to stop Democrats from building a bloated government at the cost of working people. Arlen Specter, Charlie Crist, John McCain, and the Bushes made the GOP a worthless partner for liberal Democrats who ruined the country. None of them were conservatives. They weren’t even Republicans.
These RINOs spent years promising Americans they worked for the everyday person while knowing they wouldn’t change Washington’s culture. They adore their Washington positions and establishment privileges but blame others for their shortcomings.
Scarborough used to love Trump. Then he hated him. Trump was an existential threat to what Scarborough loves about politics– it pays more than his embarrassing attempts at being a rock star.
