Mike Huckabee Says DOJ Has Made A “Mess” Of Biden Investigation

(RoyalPatriot.com )- In a column for Western Journal, former GOP Governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee explains that the Justice Department has overreached in the matter of Donald Trump‘s marked-as-classified documents at Mar-a-Lago. Now they must determine the appropriate response to President Joe Biden doing what is arguably much worse.

Then-Vice President Biden did not have the authority to declassify documents.

Reports show that no U.S. president has ever been prosecuted for obstruction under the Presidential Records Act, which is not criminal.  Or the Espionage Act, which was never intended to be used against a president.

Rep. James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, is convinced that the Jan. 6 committee initiated the raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.  It was simply conducting a fishing expedition to find anything they could use against Donald Trump.

According to Comer, every request they’ve made to the National Archives has been met with the suggestion that they speak with Attorney General Merrick Garland. But he will demand answers, adding that they have evidence that other Presidents took documents.

According to the Presidential Records Act, The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) assumed exclusive legal and physical custody of Obama’s Presidential records when President Obama left office in 2017.  Approximately 30 million pages of unclassified documents were relocated to a NARA facility in the Chicago area, where NARA exclusively maintains them.

NARA also maintains the classified Obama Presidential records at a facility in Washington, D.C.

According to the PRA, former President Obama has no control over where and how NARA stores his administration’s presidential records.

Huckabee wondered how the documents could be under NARA’s control when Biden had copies in his office at the Penn Biden Center, garage next to his Corvette, and home library.

Media reports show Biden’s attorneys discovered his office’s first batch of classified documents on November 2. We still do not know why the search was initiated initially.

According to a recent report, The Justice Department was prepared to obtain a warrant to search the Delaware home of Vice President Biden for classified documents if the president’s legal team had not given permission.
