Liz Cheney Planning To Launch “Cheney Party”

( )- Former House GOP Conference Chair Rep. Liz Cheney just won’t quit, and reportedly thinks that her brand of pseudo-conservatism is popular enough to win elections.

According to Axios, Cheney is planning to take an active role in the 2022 midterms and thinks that she can shift the GOP towards becoming a “Cheney party” – despite a majority of Republican voters backing former President Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again agenda.

Cheney reportedly told associated just before she was ousted from the party leadership role that she “doesn’t plan on going anywhere – and plans to run for re-election.”

Something tells us she might face an uphill battle winning the nomination from her party again…

Associates close to Cheney and familiar with her plans told Axios that she intends to “take her case to the public with speeches and other appearances” and will be active in the midterm elections to “mold a future Republican Party that looks more like a Cheney party and less like a Trump party.”

Does Liz Cheney think most voters even know who she is?

Axios reported how Cheney appears to care less about her leadership role and is more focused on “truth and the future of the Republican Party.”

Of course Axios would say that. The left-wing press loves it when Republicans go along with the false narrative that President Donald Trump did nothing but lie for four years.

Whatever Cheney thinks, she isn’t on track to achieve much. According to polling from The Club for Growth PAC, she has a negative favorability rating, with some 65% of respondents deeming her unfavorable. How she expects to overcome that and win her party’s nomination for 2022…nobody really knows.
