(RoyalPatriot.com )- A leaked FBI pamphlet shows that the federal agency is considering “misinformation” and “disinformation” as “election crimes,” effectively suggesting that questions regarding the credibility of U.S. elections will be treated as violations of the law.
In a report from Summit News, Project Veritas obtained an FBI “2022 Midterm Elections Social Media Analysis Cheat Sheet” leaked by a whistleblower. The pamphlet lists election crimes, such as campaign finance, election interference and influence, and voter suppression. Among those are misinformation and disinformation. The crimes are defined as:
“DISINFORMATION–False or inaccurate information intended to mislead others. Disinformation campaigns on social media are used to deliberately confuse, trick, or upset the public.”
“MISINFORMATION–False or misleading information spread mistakenly or unintentionally.”
It is unclear whether this pertains to Hillary Clinton’s recent comments suggesting that “right wing extremists” are plotting to steal the next presidential election.
“Right-wing extremists already have a plan to literally steal the next presidential election, and they’re not making a secret of it,” the former secretary of state said in a video asking for donations for a Democrat-run organization, adding that the “Right-wing controlled Supreme Court may be poised to rule on giving state legislatures the power to overturn presidential elections.”
On the other side of the pamphlet, the FBI also listed “Things to Consider,” writing underneath the headline that the First and Fourth Amendments guarantee the right to free speech and the right against “unreasonable” searches or seizures.
The Biden administration has also been part of the Democratic effort to define “misinformation” and “disinformation.” After Musk secured his bid to procure Twitter in April, Biden’s Department of Homeland Security instituted the new “Disinformation Governance Board,” according to a report from conservative magazine American Pigeon.
The board was dismantled before it began after there was massive backlash against the woman who was set to head it. Nina Jankowicz reportedly posted many politically partisan tweets, especially surrounding the 2020 election, including one where she called the Hunter Biden laptop story a Russian operation.
