Republican Bernie Moreno of Ohio is running for the Ohio Senate. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) recently backed him in early January, describing him as an authentic conservative who stands for America First.
In his prepared statement, Jordan praised Bernie as an America First conservative who will bring honor to the United States Senate. Now, more than ever, America needs conservatives who fight with common reason. Having seen the American Dream firsthand, Bernie is an outsider in politics. He will be an asset to Ohio in the Senate thanks to his unique viewpoint, determination, and conservative principles.
Reports show notable Republicans and populists who endorsed Moreno’s campaign include former president Trump, Senator J.D. Vance of Ohio, Representative Warren Davidson of Ohio, Senator Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming, and Senator Mike Lee of Utah.
Moreno said he would faithfully uphold conservative principles. Ohioans are tired of elected insiders like Brown and are prepared to send a political outsider to the U.S. Senate to replace him. Many conservatives, including Trump, Congressman Jordan, and Sen. Vance, are working together to support his campaign.
Moreno was born into opulent Colombian aristocracy in 1967 in Bogota. Bernardo Moreno Sr., his father, was a doctor and a prominent government figure. His job was similar to that of the United States Secretary of Health. Moreno has detailed a life of aristocratic privilege, growing up in several manors with their own farms and attendant servants.
But his family uprooted when he was five and settled in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
According to Moreno, his mother wanted to prevent her children from growing up entitled, so they moved to the United States. That could only be accomplished if the family forsook their lavish ways for a more modest one. Moreno immersed himself in his new nation and learned to speak English. When he reached eighteen, he became a US citizen.
In a post on his Truth Social network, the former president and presidential contender for 2024 praised Bernie Moreno, a prominent entrepreneur representing the great State of Ohio. Trump wrote that Moreno was the kind of “MAGA warrior” the US Senate requires.
