(RoyalPatriot.com )- During testimony under oath, Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign manager Robby Mook acknowledged that Hillary herself gave the green light to spread the bogus Trump/Alfa Bank opposition research to the media, despite her campaign not being “totally confident” in the veracity of the “evidence.”
Mook was called to the stand on Friday by the defense in the trial of former Clinton campaign lawyer, Michael Sussmann. Sussmann is charged with giving false statements to the FBI when he claimed in September 2016 that he was not bringing the bureau “evidence” of Trump’s supposed link to Alfa Bank on behalf of a client.
During cross-examination, Mook revealed that Clinton campaign general counsel Marc Elias was the one who first briefed him about the Alfa Bank allegations. He said Elias told him that the data was from “people that had expertise in this sort of matter.”
Mook said the campaign wasn’t confident in the legitimacy of the allegations, so they considered passing it along to a reporter who could “run it down” for them to determine if the allegations were “accurate” or “substantive.”
In addition to discussing the matter with campaign chairman John Podesta, senior policy advisor (and current National Security Advisor) Jake Sullivan, and communications director Jennifer Palmieri, Mook admitted that he also discussed it with Hillary Clinton.
While he couldn’t remember everything he said, Mook testified that he told Hillary they wanted to pass the Alfa Bank data on to a reporter. And Hillary agreed with the decision.
Unsurprisingly, Mook’s revelation that Hillary herself was involved in the decision to pass on to a reporter this bogus “backchannel” link between Trump and Alfa Bank set off a firestorm.
But for those who have covered the Russian Collusion hoax from the beginning, Mook’s revelation didn’t come as a surprise.
On Saturday, investigative reporter John Solomon, who has been on top of the Russia hoax from the start, compiled an exhaustive timeline along with documentary evidence proving that the phony Russian collusion claims began and ended with Hillary Clinton.
