GOP Press Conference Interrupted By Angry Protestors Trying To Shut It Down

( )- A Republican press conference designed to shine a light on the brutal way that Capitol Hill protesters are being treated in prison was disrupted by protesters outside of the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.

The press conference was organized by Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, Loui Gohmert, and Paul Gosar, who gathered outside of the Justice Department building to provide updates on how individuals who were arrested during or after the Capitol Hill January 6 protests are being treated in prison.

The GOP representatives expressed their concern at the way the non-violent protesters are being treated in jail, and how they are being dealt with much more harshly than the violent, dangerous rioters from Black Lives Matter and Antifa who caused $2 billion in damage across the United States last year.

Texas legislator Gohmert said that he was trying to ensure that “due process” is done and that he is standing with other concerned members of Congress. He asked if America’s prisons were “housing political prisoners.”

Rep. Taylor Green added that she doesn’t understand why nobody stopped the riot on the Capitol even though U.S. intelligence was aware of what was happening and knew there were threats beforehand. She appeared to suggest that the authorities may have colluded to encourage people to enter the Capitol Building to create a scenario that allowed Democrats to paint Republicans as violent insurrectionists.

The press conference was then rudely interrupted by left-wing extremists who caused so much disruption that the legislators were forced to abandon the press conference.

Take a look:

Can you remember the last time that Republicans purposely stood in the way of Democrats doing their official business?
