(RoyalPatriot.com )- During her visit to Dover Air Force Base to receive the body of her son, fallen Marine Lance Corporal Kareem M. Nikoui, Shana Chappell had nothing for disdain for the President and Commander-in-Chief.
Chappell was one of the Gold Star parents who agreed to meet privately with President Biden. But she didn’t meet with him so he could console her. Instead, she went to give him a piece of her mind.
In an open message to Biden on her Instagram account, Chappell excoriated the President for making the meeting all about his son Beau. Chappell accused Biden of interrupting her so he could give her his “own sob story.” She recounted that she told the President that “this isn’t about you,” telling him “so don’t make it about you!”
In her Instagram post, Chappell claimed the President grew frustrated with her as she continued to berate him. She writes that Biden “then rolled your f**king eyes in your head like you were annoyed with me.”
She then said that an exasperated President Biden turned away from her, threw up his hand behind him and walked away, which Chappell described as “like you were saying ‘ok whatever!!!’”
Chappell also reiterated what several other families recounted from the day – that Biden repeatedly checked his watch during the ceremony.
She closed her Instagram post telling the President that he was “nobody special” and “America Hates you!!!!”
Instagram suspended her account after she posted this message to Biden. It was only after social media backlash that the company restored the account claiming it was “incorrectly deleted.”
On September 2, Chappell sent a message on Facebook inviting former President Donald Trump to attend her son’s funeral on September 18, saying it “would be such an honor” if he could attend.
On Labor Day, in an emailed statement from his Save America PAC, President Trump thanked Shana, telling her “our Country loves you and especially loves your beautiful boy, Kareem.”
President Trump did not say in this email if he planned to attend Lance Corporal Nikoui’s funeral.
