Fox News Star Questions Jen Psaki On Joe Biden Kissing Video

( )- According to White House statements, President Joe Biden was not in “close touch” with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi in the days leading up to her testing positive for covid.
According to Fox’s Peter Doocy, Pelosi kissed Biden on the cheek during a White House function, only two days before Pelosi’s positive Covid-19 test was published. According to the White House, the president only had short encounters over the course of the previous two days with Speaker Pelosi.
Doocy asked incredulously how one can argue that Biden was not in close touch with Pelosi when there is footage of Speaker Pelosi kissing President Biden.
Close contact, according to Psaki, is defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as 15 minutes of contact within a set period and within six feet.
She said their interaction did not meet that bar.
Psaki said that she was merely defining for all of us whether the president and Pelosi’s interaction met the definition of ‘close contact,’ and she says it didn’t.
Her interpretation seems to be a little screwy. Why are people being forced to stand 6 feet apart when they aren’t going to be next to anyone for more than 15 minutes? Like, at the Post Office, for instance.
Former President Barack Obama, Vice President Kamala Harris, and a slew of others were also in attendance, prompting Doocy to follow up and remark that half the cabinet was there Tuesday. He noted that two of the visitors contracted covid and wondered if there was a risk that this would become a national security issue.
Psaki said she doesn’t know if the cabinet members contracted covid at that specific time.

According to Doocy, Joe Biden criticized Donald Trump’s celebration celebrating the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett as a “super-spreader” event.
He wondered if there was any chance that the forthcoming celebration for a Biden Supreme Court now-Justice would be a super-spreader event.
Psaki asserted that vaccinations have put the present government in a “different place” and that the ceremony will be held outside.
Despite extensive cable news coverage emphasizing or expecting it, Trump’s event was also held outside. Even though it took place before the vaccinations were available, it did not develop into a “super spreader” event.
