Feds “Blinked” While Targeting Elon Musk

(RoyalPatriot.com )- In a lengthy piece on Tuesday, Reuters accused the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of not going after Tesla CEO Elon Musk as aggressively as it should have.

The article recaps the April 2019 court hearing over comments Elon Musk had made on Twitter and the subsequent settlement the Tesla CEO made with the SEC. The article cites “four sources with knowledge of the matter” who complain that securities regulators “pulled their punches.”

In short, like every other mainstream news outlet, Reuters has joined the pig-pile attacking Elon Musk.

Shocking, isn’t it?

It’s almost as if Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter and outspoken opposition to the unelected, unaccountable federal bureaucracy pose some kind of threat to the ruling class.

The Reuters piece all but admits this, noting that “Musk’s use of social media” is “under scrutiny” because of his Twitter purchase offer. The writer of the piece, Michelle Price, explains that Musk has 95 million followers on Twitter and (gasp!) has called the SEC “bastards.”

The long and short of this tirelessly long article is Michelle Price wants to know why the Securities and Exchange Commission isn’t pulling out the big guns and really punishing Elon Musk.

Price and her “sources” are disappointed that Musk has continued to tweet things about Tesla without getting approval from the Tesla board as the SEC required.

It’s 1,500+ words from a tattletale.

Not long ago, Musk predicted that he would become the target of political attacks. And while many assumed Musk was referring to a recent claim of sexual harassment, it is more likely the Tesla CEO was referring to attacks from the federal bureaucracy.

In addition to the SEC targeting him over Tesla, both the FAA and the EPA are trying to monkey wrench SpaceX’s work over absurd environmental demands.

Then there are the Democrats who for years have attacked Musk for not paying his “fair share” in taxes. They’re now opening a new line of attack on Musk for having the gall to build successful companies without union workers.

And in the midst of it all, mainstream outlets like Reuters are more than happy to take up the fight and help the government destroy the man who threatens the Left’s stranglehold on our society.
