(RoyalPatriot.com )- The FBI has offered a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the whereabouts of an 18-year-old Nevada teenager who was abducted last month from a Walmart parking lot.
Naomi Christine Irion was last seen at the Fernley Walmart in Nevada in the early morning of March 12 where she was waiting for an employee bus to take her to work.
Surveillance video from outside of the Walmart showed a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and mask pacing around the parking lot before getting into Irion’s car and driving away.
Last Tuesday, Lyon County sheriff’s detective Erik Kusmerz told reporters that Irion was active on social media on her cellphone until 5:23 am, one minute before the video showed the man getting into her car.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI have been unable to detect and track the signal from her phone. However, her vehicle was discovered three days after she went missing at a Sherwin-Williams Western Emulsion Plant where investigators found evidence that Irion’s disappearance was “suspicious.”
On Friday, the Sheriff’s office announced that they had arrested a 41-year-old Fallon, Nevada man named Troy Driver in connection with Irion’s disappearance. He is being held on kidnapping charges and appeared in court on March 30 where the judge set his bail at $750,000. If the suspect makes bail, he will be placed on enhanced supervision with a GPS monitor.
The Churchill County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI searched Troy Driver’s Fallon home. Investigators have also impounded Driver’s Chevy pickup truck which they believe was involved in Irion’s disappearance.
Naomi’s father, Herve Irion works for the US State Department in the foreign service and is currently stationed in South Africa. He and his wife Diana have returned to Nevada to assist in the search for their daughter.
The GoFundMe crowdsourcing fundraiser launched to help assist in her parents’ travel costs and other expenses involved in the search has raised over $40K.
Naomi Irion is 5’-11” and weighs between 230 and 250 pounds. She has green eyes and naturally brown hair that has been dyed black. She also has a septum piercing and smiley face tattoo on her right ankle.
