(RoyalPatriot.com )- Remember when Dr. Anthony Fauci hit back at Republican Kentucky Senator Rand Paul for noting that wearing two months despite being vaccinated was “theater”? Well, Fauci’s own words have come back to haunt him.
Despite claiming it was not theater to wear masks despite being vaccinated, new emails obtained from a Freedom of Information Act request reveal that Dr. Fauci knew all along that wearing a mask is largely ineffective and that the only people who should wear them are infected individuals.
An email from Sylvia Burwell, the Obama-era secretary for Health and Human Services, asked Fauci whether she should be wearing a mask while traveling. She also asked whether the Chinese have the support they need and whether it would be wiser to spend money on vaccine or diagnostics.
The next day, Fauci responded to her question and simply said, “I do not recommend that you wear a mask.”
The head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases added that the average mask you may purchase from a drug store is “not really effective in keeping out virus.”
It’s something you may actually remember Fauci telling everyone during the early days of the pandemic on television, back during the time when we were most commonly advised that refraining from touching our faces was a better way of stopping the spread.
Fauci also explained in the email that the virus is “small enough to pass through the material” and that wearing a mask may only be useful for blocking coughs and sneezes, meaning infected droplets will be contained within the mask.

The new revelation has prompted calls for Fauci to be investigated over his conduct throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Several thousand emails between Dr. Fauci and other government and former government officials have been revealed as part of a Freedom of Information Act request, and naturally CNN saw it as an opportunity to portray him as a tireless worker for the public good.
But if that was the case…why did he constantly flip flop on masks, and why is he giving us vastly different advice than what he was giving to former government officials in February of last year?
