  • Elon Musk condemned the violence as “insane and deeply wrong”

FBI Launches Terrorism Investigation After Tesla Attack

The FBI has deployed its Joint Terrorism Task Force to investigate what appears to be a coordinated campaign against Tesla facilities after a masked suspect launched a fiery assault on a Las Vegas service center. The early morning attack damaged multiple vehicles and has prompted federal authorities to consider terrorism charges against those responsible.

Surveillance footage captured a person dressed entirely in black approaching the Tesla facility around 2:45 a.m., armed with Molotov cocktails and a firearm. The suspect shot at several vehicles before setting them ablaze with improvised incendiary devices, causing significant damage while also spray-painting the word “Resist” on the building’s front doors.

So, you know it wasn’t a “right wing extremist” committing these crimes. And you can take a guess who it was.

FBI Las Vegas Special Agent in Charge Spencer Evans acknowledged the attack “certainly has some of the hallmarks” of terrorism, though the agency has stopped short of officially classifying it as such. Law enforcement officials are investigating whether multiple suspects might have been involved in what appears to be a politically motivated attack.

Musk Condemns Violence as Attacks Spread Nationwide

Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who has become increasingly aligned with conservative causes and publicly endorsed Donald Trump for President, said that the “level of violence” he is witnessing “is insane and deeply wrong.”

And the FBI is promising to crack down.

“Violent acts like this are unacceptable regardless of where they occur. And specifically, to those who might think that something like this is justifiable or potentially even admirable, we want to let you know that it’s a federal crime. We will come after you, we will find you and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law,” FBI Las Vegas Special Agent in Charge Spencer Evans declared during a press conference.

The Las Vegas incident is not isolated, with similar attacks targeting Tesla properties across the nation. In Kansas City, two Tesla Cybertrucks were set on fire, while a Tesla dealership in San Diego was vandalized with antisemitic symbols and profanity, suggesting a coordinated effort against the American electric vehicle manufacturer.

Trump said these attacks would be treated as terrorism, and he’s following through.
