(RoyalPatriot.com )- Mehmet Oz, a candidate for the Pennsylvania Senate, insulted his rival in a video he shared on Twitter while ostensibly inside his mansion in New Jersey.
Oz registered to vote in Pennsylvania in the latter half of 2020 after spending decades residing in the Garden State. His in-laws live at the address shown on that registration. According to a representative for Oz, Oz is living there while work is being done on the house he just bought.
In the video published on Thursday, Oz attacked Democratic Lt. Governor John Fetterman, his rival. The Republican said that Fetterman and other Democratic leaders “place criminals ahead of the community.”
When Fetterman tweeted a link to the video, he noted how strikingly similar the video’s setting appeared to be to a photograph from a 2020 People magazine story showing Oz’s estate in Cliffside Park, New Jersey. The drapes and bookcase seem to reveal where Oz is.
Fetterman tweeted, “Pro tip: don’t film an ad for your PA senate race from your house in New Jersey.”
Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-NJ) decided to add fuel to the fire by praising a “North Jersey constituent” for sharing the Garden State video.
The trolling of Oz by Fetterman is nothing new. He criticized the Republican last month for trying to quickly separate himself from Donald Trump after relying on his backing to win the nomination.
In a June 8th tweet, Fetterman wrote, “Dr. Oz is a carpetbagger who barely won his primary. He came over from his New Jersey mansion to OUR state.”
It’s especially ironic when a lefty complains about carpetbagging when two of the more infamous carpetbagging incidents were at the hands of Democrats and both in New York.
No act of carpetbagging will come close to what happened when Robert F. Kennedy invaded the Empire State in 1964 in terms of controversy, humor, and sheer boldness.
Ethel Kenedy suggested as a campaign slogan, “There is only so much you can do for Massachusetts.”
And, of course, there is Hillary Clinton, running off to New York for such a “tough fight” for a Democrat, where all you need to do is win the primary.
Seeing Hillary sitting in a Yankees cap at Yankee stadium, without a hint of embarrassment or shame, is all you need to know about a politician.
They are not serving you; they are helping themselves.
