(RoyalPatriot.com )- Former attorney general Bill Barr has described former President Donald Trump’s reaction when, on the night of the 2020 election, tens of thousands of ballots randomly appeared in swing states across the country and rapidly changed the expected results of the election.
During an interview on Fox News’ Special Report with Bret Baier, Barr promoted his new book “One Damn Thing After Another,” and described the “unsettling” moment that Trump realized the election victory would be robbed from him.
Barr subscribes to the idea that the 2020 presidential election was not impacted by fraud and misconduct, despite evidence suggesting otherwise. Various reports, including forensic analysis from the Voter Integrity Project and Matt Braynard, have shown how the election was impacted by chain-of-custody problems, fraud, and misconduct.
“It was certainly unsettling when I went in to talk to the president about the election,” Barr said. “He was livid and shaking and showed a lot of temper and yelling. That was a little unsettling.”
Well, it would be, given that Trump was expected to win on election night. The former president was receiving calls left, right, and center from politicians congratulating him on his win, before tens of thousands of ballots for Joe Biden appeared in swing states across the country in the dead of night.
Barr described how, as he handed in his resignation to the president after the election, Trump told him that the election was rigged and that he would be in the White House for another term.
“I just felt this showed a detachment from reality that was stunning to me,” he said. “He was willing to accept anything, no matter how fanciful, as long as it didn’t make him a loser in the election.”
Remember when Trump supporters liked Barr? Not any more.
He claimed in the Fox interview that the “truth” is that Trump lost the election. Do you agree?
