Donald Trump Destroys Steve Cassidy For Suggesting Trump Won’t Win GOP Primary

( )- On Monday, former President Donald Trump indicated that he is planning on running for the Republican Party’s presidential nomination again – and he did it by blasting Republican Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy who indicated that he might not be able to win if he runs again.

In a statement issued by his Save America PAC, Trump called Senator Cassidy “wacky” and a “RINO,” and reminded readers that he begged for his endorsement in 2020 and used it everywhere to win re election.

“Much like Little Ben Sasse [R-Neb.], and then voted to impeach your favorite President,” the statement continued.

Say what you like about President Trump, but he’s consistent. Cross him, and he’ll pull out all the stops to knock you down a peg or two.

Senator Cassidy was one of the seven Republican Senators who voted to impeach the former president over false claims that he incited a violent insurrection at the Capitol Building on January 6. Trump was wrongly accused of encouraging violence, and Democrats used those false claims to impeach him even after he had left office. And for some reason, Cassidy went along with it.

Speaking to Axios on HBO on Sunday night, Cassidy described Trump as the first Republican president to “lose the House, the Senate and the presidency in four years.”

Sure. He was also the first president to be targeted by a Clinton-manufactured witch hunt that wrongly accused him of conspiring with Russia to win the 2016 election. He is also the first president to have been hit hard by election misconduct and fraud, only to have the Democrats gaslight him and pretend it was the most secure election in history.

When host Mike Allen asked Cassidy if he thinks Trump can lose the nomination, he responded:

“If you want to win the presidency, and hopefully that’s what voters are thinking about, I think he might.”

Yeah, we’ll see.
