On Wednesday, police in the Texas county of Harris discovered an unusual find after receiving a call reporting the discovery of a “body” on the property.
Near Hirsch Road in the 5800 block of Brunswick, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting that a deceased female was discovered.
When they arrived, expecting to be securing a crime scene, upon closer inspection, the investigators found out that the decedent was a sex doll.
Ed Gonzalez, sheriff of Harris County, Texas, reportedly radioed that it was a false alarm. He said after close inspection, “It was not a body.”
FOX 26 Houston states that the uncovered silicon sex doll was wearing a pink bra and pantyhose. It was cut up into pieces in various sections. Investigators said although the skin was pliable, no odor came from the body.
The sheriff’s office first said they “suspected” wrongdoing but didn’t say whether or not any charges were filed due to their investigation.
This discovery follows the recent findings of two more bodies in the span of three days.
On Tuesday, investigators discovered a dead person along the Crosby Freeway in East Harris County.
A body was found lying by the side of the road. The sheriff’s office said it appeared that the body had been there for several days.
Authorities found the body of an adult Saturday at Sheldon Lake State Park. The body had been in the water for some time.
The deceased was probably a woman of Hispanic ancestry in her late teens or early twenties. The sheriff’s office has stated that there are clues that suggest foul play may have occurred; due to the location of the body and the dense woods around it, it does not appear that the person would’ve floated from the site where an SUV was submerged in water. However, they wanted to look into every avenue.
