D.C. Speechwriter Says Kamala Harris Is Running

(RoyalPatriot.com )- There have been a lot of rumors swirling around Washington lately saying that some of President Joe Biden’s allies have already suggested that he should be replaced by his vice president, Kamala Harris, in 2024.

While much of the mainstream media have been reporting on alleged in-fighting between the two, as well as a potential shake-up in the Democratic ticket come 2024, others have different theories.

Wayne Dupree, a conservative writer, said that Harris could be “hiding” and staying behind the scenes so that Biden can take all the public heat about his administration’s failures. This would allow her to potential show that she has a “perfect record” heading into the 2024 Democratic primary.

As Dupree wrote:

“If this was indeed a plan, then Biden knows he was a patsy president and will be ready to resign probably next spring. If not, there could be some pushback from Team Biden directed at Team Obama/Harris. Biden may be just sentient enough to resent being pushed out of power. And it could be that Harris is being kept in the shadows to insulate her from criticism and keep her pristine for her chance at becoming president.”

Biden hasn’t officially announced that he will be running for re-election in 2024, though he has said many times in that past that it’s his intention to do so. Still, many people have been debating whether he would be a better candidate for Democrats, or whether Harris would be in 2024.

In a piece she wrote for Slate recently, Christina Cauterucci said that while “we are stuck with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris” as of right now, but that the president could be able to “change that” before 2024.

Garry South, who is a strategist for the Democratic Party, wrote in Capitol Weekly recently that the liberals need to be aware of the vice president, not just now but for the future as well. He wrote:

“Despite her obvious intelligence, Harris just isn’t very good, I’m sorry to say, either as a candidate or communicator. When it comes to Harris and 2024 – or beyond – Democrats would be wise to bear in mind the old time-honored caution, caveat emptor.”

While Harris would be the obvious step-in for Biden should the president decide not to run for re-election, the vice president is losing support from Democrats, recent polls have shown.

Multiple media outlets have reported recently on the possibility of Biden running for re-election but not having Harris as his running mate – which would be rather unprecedented. If that were to happen, it’s likely Harris would try to launch her own separate campaign for president – though she failed miserably trying to do that in 2020.

CNN published a report toward the end of 2021 that cited a top donor to the Democratic Party who said:

“Kamala Harris is a leader but is not being put in positions to lead. [Biden] should be putting her in positions to succeed, as opposed to putting weights on her. If you did give her the ability to step up and help her lead, it would strengthen you and strengthen the party.”
