Congress Members Send Important Letter To Federal Agencies Demanding Answers

( )- Members of Congress just announced that they have sent letters to federal agencies requesting the release of documents from a Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) report that was just uncovered by Project Veritas.

The conservative anti-corruption watchdog just released some documents that show how EcoHealth Alliance, the organization funded by the National Institutes of Health which then provided hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Wuhan Institute of Virology to fund gain-of-function research, issued proposals to DARPA.

Republican Reps. Diana Harshbarger, Lisa McClain, Randy Weber, Matt Gaetz, and Madison Cawthorn signed a letter to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, as well as Director of the Centers for Disease Control Rochelle Walensky and Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra insisting that all relevant documentation should be released. The letter also demanded that the federal officials offer more insight into the “true origin of the Coronavirus.”

EcoHealth Alliance’s funding of the Wuhan Institute of Virology is important as this is the Chinese lab where the COVID-19 virus is widely believed to have originated.

The letter explains how Project Veritas brought to light information about how the COVID-19 virus may have come about, and what methods of covering it up may have been used.

“These documents appear to substantiate not only Senator Paul’s — and others’ — critiques of Dr. Fauci, but also the cloud of suspicion that the frankly unbelievable bureaucratic answers to simple questions have generated over the last two years,” it continues.

The report revealed by Project Veritas shows how EcoHealth Alliance contacted DARPA in March of 2018 seeking funding for “Project Defuse,” which would ultimately perform gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses. This kind of virus research involves genetically modifying viruses in a way that allows scientists to understand how they might mutate naturally.

While the proposal was rejected by DARPA, funding was ultimately obtained from the National Institutes of Health – even though Dr. Anthony Fauci, the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told Congress otherwise.

Legislators are demanding that DARPA reveal whether or not this report was hidden in a “top-secret share drive” as alleged by Project Veritas, whether the definition of gain-of-function research has changed, and if there were any attempts to suppress potential curatives. The representatives are also requesting that DARPA answer whether Dr. Anthony Fauci was “party to or co-conspirator with any effort to mislead the American public.”

Do you think they’ll get an honest answer?
