Chris Christie Is The Most Unpopular GOP Candidate For President

According to the most recent poll conducted by Morning Consult, former New Jersey governor Chris Christie has the greatest unfavorable rating of any candidate running in the Republican primary.

Former President Donald Trump maintains his lead in the latest weekly poll, with the support of 76% of likely Republican primary voters. Twenty-three percent had an unfavorable opinion.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis comes in second with a favorable approval rating of 67 percent and an unfavorable rating of 21 percent. His negative rating has risen from 14% in March.

Mike Pence, the former vice president, has a favorable approval rating of 50%. However, just two weeks earlier, 54% of people had a positive impression of him. The percentage of people with a negative opinion of Pence is the second highest of all the people mentioned, at 39%.

Chris Christie, the former governor of New Jersey, has the lowest approval rating of any major party presidential contender, at 46%. A mere 26% have a positive opinion of him, while 16% claim they have never heard of him.

In addition, a recent Economist/YouGov poll indicated that 56% of Republicans had a negative opinion of Christie.

Reports have shown that no one should be surprised by Christie’s high unfavorable rating; he has been relentless in his attacks on the candidate with the most incredible support and obvious frontrunner, former President Trump. Even at the recent Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority Policy Conference, Christie used his time to criticize Trump, which caused the crowd to boo him.

During his address, Christie cited the former president as the impetus for his own bid for the presidency.

In an early June Truth Social post, Trump poked fun at Christie’s frequent emphasis on the “choice between small and big” that voters would confront in 2024.

Trump wrote that Chris Christie used the word “SMALL”  many times. He asked if Christie suffered from a psychological issue with size.

As modified by a couple of social media memers, Christie’s campaign kickoff video had Christie standing in front of a buffet station with a dish in his hand.
