(RoyalPatriot.com )- Last week, billionaire Bill Gates suggested that Europe’s current energy crisis will be “good for the long run” because it will force countries to move away from fossil fuels to alternative energy sources.
You know what they say, you can’t make an alternative energy omelet without cracking a few eggs.
During an interview on CNBC, the Microsoft co-founder explained that while global economies can’t immediately abandon oil and natural gas, the current shortages in Europe will make the transition away from fossil fuels happen faster.
Sure, it’s a “setback,” Gates explained. But it is “good for the long run because people won’t want to be dependent on Russian natural gas” so they’ll be willing to “move to these new approaches more rapidly.”

What was it the Obama administration liked to say?
Never let a crisis go to waste.
So what if hundreds, if not thousands of Europeans freeze to death this winter because they can’t afford to heat their homes? Their deaths just might get countries to switch to alternative energy sources “more rapidly.”
Gates’ remarks are similar to the callous indifference of the Biden administration to skyrocketing energy prices in the United States. Instead of showing an ounce of concern that Americans are struggling to afford gas or home heating, this administration, from the president on down, simply dismisses it as an important part of their “transition.”
How many Biden officials and Democrat lawmakers have responded to Americans worried about the high price of gas by telling us to just go buy an electric vehicle? It’s become the Biden administration’s Green Energy version of “let them eat cake.”
The Green Movement is a death cult.
These people don’t care about the economy. They don’t care about people being crushed under the weight of skyrocketing energy prices or freezing to death in winter.
All they care about is their so-called “transition” to alternative energy sources, none of which could sustain the quality of life the civilized world has come to expect.
