Biden Confidant Implies They’ll SKIP Final Presidential Debate

( The Biden campaign could be setting the stage for their presidential nominee skipping the third and final debate. It comes after the Commission on Presidential Debates refused to walk back their needless change of format for the second debate, which would have seen the two candidates appearing in a virtual town hall.

President Donald Trump refused to agree to the new rules as he had recovered from COVID-19 and as of this week tested negative. White House doctors have confirmed that the president is no longer infectious, and yet the commission still refused to return to the original format.

Biden’s campaign is now using this as a reason to skip the final debate, which is due to take place on October 22, just 11 days before voters go to the polls.

On Monday, the Daily Beast – a far-left news outlet – reported how a long-time confidant of Biden and a former Senate staffer suggested that the Democratic candidate might not show up.

“If Trump is going to take his football and go home, I say good riddance to bad rubbish,” the source said, adding, “but it turns out that there is an amount of lying and ugliness that blows back even on Trump.”

If Biden chooses to skip the debate, it will cement rumors that the campaign didn’t want them to take place at all. At 77 years old, Biden is no spring chicken – and just this week he made several gaffes. The Democratic presidential nominee on Tuesday forgot what state he was in, claimed he was running for the United States Senate, and even forgot the name of Mitt Romney.

Also on the same day, Biden directed voters to go to a website that doesn’t exist, and then confused Ted Kennedy with Robert Byrd, a former leader of the Ku Klux Klan.

The Biden confidant also said to the Daily Beast that many in the Biden camp believe that avoiding debates would be a good tactic.

“Joe should spike the football, consider the debates won, and just do a town hall to show that he, unlike Trump, knows how to relate to the concerns of everyday Americans,” the source said.

On Thursday, both President Donald Trump and presidential candidate Joe Biden are planning to attend individual and competing town hall events where they will answer questions from the voters. Well, President Trump will answer the questions – Biden will just have to decide whether or not the voters deserve to have answers.
