Biden Cancels Trump Plan To Ban Immigrants Who Can’t Afford Services

( )- On Friday, the White House announced that President Trump’s order denying visas to immigrants deemed a burden to the US healthcare system has been rescinded.

According to the White House, Trump’s order “does not advance the interests” of the United States.

Preventing American taxpayers for having to foot the bill for healthcare of non-citizens doesn’t “advance the interests” of the United States?

It is unclear how US interests advanced by sticking taxpayers with the bill for free healthcare for immigrants.

This isn’t the first immigration-related order of Trump’s President Biden has rescinded via executive order.

The Biden Administration also ceased construction of the border wall, reinstituted “catch and release,” and ended the successful “Remain in Mexico” policy responsible for significantly reducing border crossings.

“My administration is committed to expanding access to quality, affordable healthcare,” President Biden said in the proclamation reversing Trump’s order. “We can achieve that objective, however, without barring the entry of noncitizens who seek to immigrate lawfully to this country but who lack significant financial means or have not purchased health insurance coverage from a restrictive list of qualifying plans.”

President Trump’s objective in creating this order in October of 2019 was to ensure that immigrants to the US were not arriving at our shores already a financial burden to American taxpayers.

In a sane world, this is a logical order.

But in a Biden Administration, that order didn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell.

Joe Biden, along with every other 2020 Democrat candidate, promised to provide government-funded healthcare to citizens and non-citizens alike.

Vice President Kamala Harris continues with her busy work ostensibly looking for the “root causes” of the mad dash to our Southern Border when all she really needs to do is re-watch that video.

A secure border does “advance the interests” of the United States.

An immigration system that prioritizes those who contribute to our society and our economy over those who instantly become wards of the state absolutely does “advance the interests” of the United States.

It’s beginning to look like the interests of the United States are the last thing the Biden Administration is particularly interested in advancing.
